I’m Stellah (you can read all about who I am in the “About Me” tab at the top of the page). Glad you could make it to my part of the blogosphere.
I’ve been wanting start a blog all about my college experience and other life experiences for quite some time now. But I didn’t actually start college until about a month ago so I’ve been patiently keeping this blog on the back burner.
But now, I’m a college student and I can get this party started.
So welcome to Fiercely Living.
Why did I start this blog?
Obviously, to document my life in college. I want to travel and do cool, fun college stuff. I want these next few years to be memorable.
And I also really wanted to share my bits of wisdom about transitioning from high school to college with other people. When I was reading a million and one college blogs in prep for being a college student, very few of the blogs I came across talked about finishing college in less than four years.
I have absolutely zero plans to spend 4 years at college so I want to share some of my information with other soon-to-be college students.
What about the name?
I love the word ‘fierce’. It’s such a strong and sassy word. It’s a word that I would like my life to emulate. I want to take life and be courageous enough to try new things. And I would really like to inspire other people to be fierce in their own lives.
Thus, Fiercely Living was born.
Where did my inspiration come from?
Honestly, every college blog that I’ve been stalking for the past two years. And there are a lot. I’m sure I’ll be linking to some of them throughout my blog posts. But the inspiration to really jumpstart this blog came from my good friend Triasha over at Making My Way.
She’s a college blogger too and she has been planning out her blog for quite some time. She doesn’t know this, at least until now, but seeing her prep for her blog has inspired me to be more organized and to really take this blog seriously. You should go say hi to her, she’s got some great content up.
Well that’s the end of that. I hope you come along with me on my journey through fiercely living. See what I did there? But seriously, I do hope you’ll be around and get a different perspective of college life.
